Briefly about LHPA traditional events

The LHPA Workshops of Transpersonal Psychology: the seminars are taking place in the beginning of the spring. They are organized by Remigijus Juskenas. A participation is open to everyone. It is paid. Places are limited there.

The LHPA multidisciplinary conferences are held in Kaunas from 2002. These go on in spring, thus they are known as the Spring LHPA conferences. Usually the LHPA organizes them together with VMU. These conferences last one day and are free.

The LHPA campsites are held from 1993. In the previous millennium, they used to take place on the islet of Siesartis lake near Moletai and later moved to the Labanoras wood. Each year the campsite is held almost at the same time-during the transitional week from July to August. Participants live in the tents and the food is prepared on a campfire. Everybody brings their own full inventory and foodstuffs. Participation is open to everyone, including families and children. There is collected a small fee.

The LHPA Reality Review symposiums are held in Palanga or in the nearby situated sea resorts from 1992.They previously were known as The LHPA Autumn workshops. Rimvydas Budrys is an organizer of these meetings. Each symposium has its own original theme of the year. They are hosted by the organizer and invited speakers. With an appearance of the participants from Russia, Baltic States and other countries the discourses are held in Russian. The events are open to everyone and a number of places is unlimited. The participants live on the spot of symposium or at whatever place they choose themselves. A participation fee is increased in recent years, but it remains affordable not just for the employed, but also for the students and seniors.

The Winter conferences are held in Vilnius from 1992 about one month before the coming New Year. Usually they take place at Vilnius University, Faculty of Philosophy. The Winter conferences are characteristic by fact that the reports are read principally by the members of LPHA and there is just a few guest speakers. Each conference has a winter theme. The participation is open to everyone wishing to take part in and it is free.

The "Threshold"-topic meeting group takes place at one of the granges around Moletai. This group is organized by Grazina-Sofija Kuniskiene jointly with her colleagues. It takes place in December, but not every year. A number of the seats is limited there and a small fee is collected for a participation.
